We're really excited to offer Gonon's 2021 Les Iles Feray. It exemplifies the finessed and aromatically lifted style of Les Iles Feray. This is a vintage that really flaunts what we most admire about this wine.
Les Iles Feray's signature is a pitch-perfect clarity with an intricate and detailed presentation of blackberries, olives, violets, spice, and forest floor notes wrapped around a smoke-infused minerality. This is authentic northern Rhône Syrah, rendered with the utmost care.
Les Iles Feray is mostly sourced from parcels lower on the slopes of their Saint Joseph vineyards and a small portion of young vines further up the slopes. In any vintage, the wine is incredibly agile, pure, and offers up a complicated assortment of bright fruit, spice, floral notes, and crushed rock. The 2021 really dramatizes these qualities.
We bought every bottle of the 2021 Les Iles Feray that we could find. This is an absolutely beautiful vintage of Les Iles Feray and should not be missed.
