We've been slowly amassing a group of hard-to-find Jura wines.
Today, we're excited to offer a broad selection of our Jura inventory.
To start with, Domaine des Cavarodes is situated just north of Arbois. Etienne Thiebaud's Domaine des Cavarodes produces some of Jura's hardest-to-find bottles. Thiebaud works naturally and produces wines of staggering purity, often sourced from very old vineyards and including obscure and nearly forgotten regional grapes.
Cellier Saint Benoit also produces small quantities of highly sought-after wines. Before returning to his family’s domaine in Pupillin, Benjamin Benoit worked with Charles Lachaux and Amélie Berthaut in Burgundy. In no time, he was producing some of the region's most clear and finessed wines.
There's an extensive selection of the cult wines of Jean-François Ganevat. Simply put, Ganevat's wines are incredibly impressive. They have a combination of elegance and concentration that amazes. Above all, they possess incredible clarity.
Macle has long stood as a benchmark for the Jura. The explanation is simple: no one in the region captures elegance the way that they do. Macle possesses an extraordinary ability to take Jura's wild, earthy flavors and, with absolute precision, weave them together into a unified tapestry that has an undeniable, mineral-driven elegance.
Finally, Montbourgeau has long stood as one of our favorite Jura producers. Montbourgeau produces some of the finest and most elegant sous voile wine vines. In terms of elegance in Vin Jaune, their only rival is Macle's great Château-Chalons. The value that they offer is hard to beat.
I'll let you get to the list. Please keep in mind that many wines are very limited.
