Stagg – but this acclaimed small batch Bourbon captures an essential piece of history. Colonel Taylor was a key figure in establishing top quality Bourbon. Taylor was instrumental in establishing the Bottled-in-Bond standards and developed innovative techniques shortly after the Civil War that are still in use today. The Colonel E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon 100 Proof is bottled-in-bond from a warehouse that Taylor built in 1881. What results is a layered and smooth sipping Bourbon with notes of spice, tobacco, and butterscotch that honors the uncompromising legacy of E.H. Taylor, Jr.
