I was really excited to snag this parcel of Nebbiolo d'Alba Arione. I should warn you from the outset that this offer is extremely limited.

Roberto Conterno is one of the world's greatest winemakers.
Conterno's wines exist in their own realm. Roberto’s exacting standards focus on perfecting every little detail. The sum is an almost logic-defying profundity.
Arione is a legendary vineyard bordering Cascina Francia. Conterno released a Barolo for the first time in 2015, along with a Nebbiolo d'Alba from a portion of the site that's just outside of the Barolo appellation. The Nebbiolo d'Alba was bottled for a charity auction. The vines were then pulled up after the 2015 vintage, and the vineyard was replanted. The 2019 vintage is the first release from the young vines.
By all accounts, this is an extraordinary bottle. In his review, Antonio Galloni writes: "The 2019 Nebbiolo d'Alba Vigna Arione might be the finest wine among Conterno's new releases. It is certainly the wine I would most like to own."
There's probably not much more that needs to be said besides that. I encourage you to get your orders in early.
