There's no reason to drag out an Allemand offering.
His wines are very special and have long been recognized as such.
It's hard not to agree with the late Josh Raynolds when he wrote, "Let me state unequivocally that there is no estate in the entire Rhône Valley making finer wines."
Today, we're happy to offer Allemand's 2020 Cornas Reynard at a sharp price.
Reynard is the old vine bottling that boasts the most intricate density of Allemand's incredibly refined wines.
The 2020 Reynard is a showstopper. The wine has a shocking combination of power, purity, and detail. Few producers other than Allemand could deliver a wine that managed to combine such intensity and such finely tuned harmony.
I was very happy to land this parcel, but I should underscore that it's a modest one. I doubt these bottles will stick around for very long.
