Trediberri is a relative newcomer to the Piedmont scene, but the wines quickly left their mark.
In short, Trediberri is crafting old-school-styled Barolos with an energy and finesse that really makes them stand out.

We agree with Antonio Galloni when he writes, "Readers who have not discovered these wines owe it to themselves to do so. Not only are the wines brilliant, they also remain very fairly priced."
Today, we're happy to offer the 2021 Trediberri Barolo Berri for $64.95.
As good as previous vintages of the wine have been, the 2021 is special. We love the elegance and sparkling clarity of the 2021 Piedmont wines, and the Berri has these qualities in spades.
Trediberri means "three from Berri," and the three partners in the winery are father and son Federico and Nicola Oberto and Vladimiro Rambaldi. For many years, Federico was the cellar master at Renato Ratti. The winery was founded in 2007.
Their holdings in the Berri vineyard are 5ha. Up until the Second World War, the vineyard was widely planted, the area was largely neglected before Trediberri arrived. However, this cooler site with clay and sandstone over limestone has proven very well suited to making clear and nervy Barolos.
The 2021 Barolo Berri has incredible elegance and purity. There are explosive aromatics of flowers, herbs, bright red fruits, and spice that are rendered with beautiful detail. The drive and focus of the wine really seal the deal in making this an extremely memorable bottle.
Simply put, this is a really compelling bottle. There's so much to like. We recommend that you grab at least a couple of bottles. You don't come across wines this good at this price very often.
