About This Wine

In 2021, Willi Schaefer produced brilliant wines in painfully small quantities. Schaefer's collection is simply incredible. Across the range, the wines possess a laser focus and blazing mineral purity.

In this vintage, the off-dry format provided the perfect stage to showcase 2021's utterly classic cut. Schaefer's Feinherb has a piercing saline minerality and a sleek and gripping core. The combination gives an extraordinary impression of etherealness and intensity.

The Feinherb is mainly sourced from the Himmelreich vineyard. It has 17 grams of residual sugar. The balance is amazing. I'm excited to watch this age over the next five to ten years.
