"This is excellent"
-2023 Comtes Lafon Meursault 1er Cru Les Porusots

For me, Comtes Lafon are some of the most exciting white Burgundies being made.

"This seemingly always boxes above its weight and it has done so again in 2022."
-2022 Comtes Lafon Meursault Clos de la Barre

Lafon's 2022s are beautiful. They combine power and a suave joyfulness with painstaking rigor and tension.

"Racy, detailed and refined"
-2023 Lafon Volnay

This is a shame. Along with d'Angerville and Lafarge, Lafon makes some of the top examples of Volnay.

"This is classic Porusots in that it's very much built-to-age"
2021 Comtes Lafon Meursault 1er Cru Les Porusots

Lafon's 2021 is a wine of dazzling force and verve. The intricacy of its architecture is amazing. It's rare to find a wine working on this breadth and scale that's this poised, detailed, and lifted.

"The sleek and almost painfully intense"
2020 Lafon Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières

Lafon's 2020s are no joke. I was very excited to have landed a small parcel of the Genevrières. From release, this has been a brilliant bottle.

In Peak Form Lafon Meursault, Montrachet, Volnay & More

On nearly a weekly basis, I'm blown away by a bottle of Lafon.

A Master At Work:
2022 Dominique Lafon Meursault Les Narvaux

The 2022 epitomizes what makes the wine stand out in a lineup.  There's a radiance and polished minerality that's thrilling. The wine packs so much intensity into a relatively lithe frame and it's delivered with breathtaking agility.

Utter Brilliance:
2014 Lafon Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes

Lafon's 2014s were so impressive that they were impossible not to notice.

If it wasn't already obvious that things were starting to click into high gear at this Meursault benchmark, the 2014 drove this point home unequivocally.

A Master At Work - Value Edition:
2022 Dominique Lafon Bourgogne Blanc

While there's no way around the fact that Lafon's wines can hit high price points, it's not true that encountering Lafon's mastery comes at a cost. Today, we drive this point home in a big way.

"Maybe the dark horse of Dominique Lafon’s wines this vintage"
2018 Lafon Meursault 1er Cru Les Porusots

Lafon's 2018s are simply jaw-dropping.
This doesn't comes as any surprise. For starters, Lafon has been at the top of his game for the past handful of vintages.

"This is excellent" -Burghound
2017 Lafon Meursault Clos de la Barre

Lafon has never been better. Along with Roulot and Coche-Dury, Lafon is the standard-bearer of Meursault. His 2017s show this benchmark in top form.
