2022 Jouan Gevrey-Chambertin "Aux Echezeaux"

The 2022 "Aux Echezeaux" is an incredibly seductive vintage of the wine. There’s a clarity of expression with a beautiful lift. This combined with an intriguing textural dimension makes for a dynamite bottle of red Burgundy.

Classicism in Côte-Rôtie:
2021 Jamet Côte-Rôtie

In any year, Jamet's Côte-Rôtie is one of the great wines of the northern Rhône. However, something special happens to Jamet in brisker and more classical vintages. Anyone fortunate enough to have tasted their 1991 Côte-Rôtie can attest to this.

Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Champagne

The majority of Laherte's vines are in Coteaux Sud d’Epernay, an area between the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne that has chalky soil with a thin layer of clay on top. It's hard not to feel how the chalk contributes to Laherte's signature of tension and fineness.
