Lapierre is one of the standard-bearers of Beaujolais. We'll keep this brief.
Our allocation of Lapierre's Sans Soufre bottling is one of the most anticipated events. Lapierre's Morgon is one of the most wildly delicious wines in existence. The Sans Soufre bottling takes it to another level. In the U.S. it's rarely encountered and tends to disappear from the market quickly.
Jean Foillard makes some our favorite wines anywhere. When news arrived that his son, Alex, had started making wine in very different terroirs in Beaujolais, we were really curious.

There are few producers in Beaujolais who turn out wines with the same level of clarity and purity as Foillard. When you taste through Foillard's line up side-by-side, it becomes very clear just how sensitive the winemaking is. Each wine is vinified exactly the same, but the differences are striking.
Côte du Py is one of Beaujolais' great vineyards. Foillard is undoubtedly the master of the site. A couple of weeks ago we offered bottles of Foillard's gorgeous 2016 Côte du Py. Today, we're happy to offer a modest parcel of magnums.
Foillard's Côte du Py is as pure and captivating as Beaujolais gets. At this point, Foillard's Côte du Py doesn't need much of an introduction. Still, it's a wine we're so fond of that we feel the need to say at least a few words.
Foillard's Corcelette has quickly become one of our favorite bottles in Beaujolais. When Corcelette is on, it's one of the most beguiling bottles of Beaujolais around.
Like so many others, we love Lapierre's wines. They are joyous wines to be drunk with abandon. Out of the line-up, it's the Camille that we work hardest to find in quantity.

Every vintage, we watch people stock up on Lapierre by the case. Lapierre is one of the standard-bearers of Beaujolais. If you were to rank wines on sheer drinkability, Lapierre would top the list.
Foillard is one of the undisputed great producers of Beaujolais and 2014 is easily one of the strongest Beaujolais vintages of the past decade.
At this point, when we offer Envínate we expect a quick sell out. It's been amazing to watch the wines blow up.
With the first release of Eponym in 2013, it became even more obvious how dialed dialed into terroir Foillard is.
For many of us, Foillard is the master of Morgon. It's that simple.
When Corcelette is on, it's one of the most beguiling bottles of Beaujolais around.
Last month, we offered Foillard's 2015 Côte du Py and the offer blew up. Today, we're happy to offer a very limited amount of magnums.
2010 remains one of our favorite vintages of Foillard's Fleurie. When we saw this parcel, we jumped on it.
Each vintage, we amass as much of Foillard's Côte du Py as we can get. It's never enough.
This is Cornas like you've never tasted it before. It's hard to imagine an expression of Cornas so faithful to the appellation, yet so removed from its usual expression.
The 2015 Beaujolais are difficult to find in quantity. When it comes to Cuvée Marcel, things are especially ugly. A mere trickle of Cuvée Marcel arrived in the U.S. At any given time in the past six months, you'd only find a listing or two for the wine.
"They have achieved an elegance and balance never seen before" -Luis Gutiérrez, The Wine Advocate
Foillard captures the beauty and delicacy of Fleurie in a way that few others achieve. Foillard is famous for making some of the greatest examples of Morgon. Still, his much less available Fleurie stands dangerously close to being the Platonic ideal of Fleurie.
Côte du Py is Morgon's most famous vineyard, and one of Beaujolais' top sites. Naturally, when word got out that Lapierre was bottling a Côte du Py, we were very excited.
