The 2017 Chaignots makes clear just how seductive Mugneret-Gibourg's wines can be. It's always a pleasure to offer Chaignots as it's one of my favorite wines in Burgundy.

In the early 2000s, the focus for most German Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) was ripeness, not place. Enderle & Moll's was different - they released wildly delicate, both in color and flavor, Spätburgunders that focused on the place and the soil.

The 2023 Saint-Joseph is concentrated and beautifully clear. Given the amount of harmony and gripping depth that it possesses, you can safely expect it to evolve into an absolutely stunning example of the northern Rhône.
