2016 Oddero Barolo Villero

I tasted the 2016 Villero during my visit to Piedmont last fall and was blown away. Tasting through the 2016 Barolos and Barbarescos really drove home what an important vintage it is. Even in the context of a great vintage, Oddero's Villero left a deep impression. 

2017 Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny

I don't get to offer Mugnier very often, and this is the first time that I've been able to offer Mugnier's Chambolle.

Mugnier is one of Burgundy's elite. Few producers hit the level of transparency, fineness, and regal elegance that Mugnier does.

2018 Domaine de Montrieux: Gaga de Toi Gamay & Picrochole Pineau d'Aunis

Domaine de Montrieux are wines that I want to drink often.

I admire their simplicity, their purity, and how they present a combination of unmediated honesty with a dose of sophistication and polish. When it comes to the Pineau d'Aunis bottlings, I'm in awe of how masterfully the grape is handled.

2018 Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru

Drouhin's Chambolle 1er Cru offers a pedigree and class that may be unrivaled for the price.

Chambolle is one of the most beautiful expressions of red Burgundy. For many years, Drouhin's 1er Cru has served as an archetypal Chambolle for me. It's a wine that's simply beguiling.

I jumped all over this parcel. Génot-Boulanger's 2014s are absolutely stunning.

The wines are a pitch-perfect expression of the vintage, with amazing concentration, clarity, and harmony. The lineup perfectly captures all of the precision and lifted elegance that made 2014 a home run for White Burgs. 

Saving The Best For Last:
2018 Tribut Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet

Côte de Léchet has a sleeker and more pointed minerality. It delivers a deeply etched saline minerality and bright cut.

Each year, Lapierre's San Soufre is our most popular Beaujolais offer. It sells out in hours.

Lapierre is one of the most beloved winemakers, and it's rare to see the Sans Soufre bottling.

Ramonet 2013-2017

Ramonet is one of the time-tested greats of white Burgundy.

Catch a Ramonet in top form, which is usually the case, and you'll find a case study in tension and intensity.

Allemand:
2007-2016

Allemand's wines are very special. It's hard not to agree with Vinous Media's Josh Raynolds when he writes: "let me state unequivocally that there is no estate in the entire Rhône Valley making finer wines.”

Griotte-Chambertin is one of the most beguiling and elegant of Gevrey's Grand Crus.

It is also one of the smallest and most elusive Grand Crus in Burgundy. Just over a handful of producers even make wine in Griotte.

2017 White Burgundy Oasis: 2017 De Montille Saint Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly

Saint Aubin's 1er Cru En Remilly pulls in all sorts of people - collectors, Burgundy fanatics, value hunters, etc.

Not many other places offer white Burgundies at this level for this price. After all, En Remilly sits just behind the Grand Cru, Le Montrachet.
