Loire Rarity in a Stunning Vintage:
2014 Pascal Cotat Sancerre Rosé

No Rosé on earth ages the way that Pascal Cotat's does. Without question, it's one of the most serious and collected rosés around. This all adds up to it being in short supply. Allocations are typically a case or two.

Morgon Benchmarks in Magnum: 2014 Foillard & Lapierre

I'm going to keep this short. Foillard and Lapierre are Beaujolais benchmarks. In 2014, magnums of their wines are a "don't miss." It's obvious that word is out on 2014 Beaujolais. Every offer we send sells out quickly.

The Perennial Overachiever: 2013 Lafarge Volnay

Few village Red Burgundies punch above their weight class the way that Lafarge's does. And it does so with a particular soulfulness that I love.

The Beating Heart of Cornas - Magnum Edition: 2013 Clape Cornas Mags

We hold the 2013 Northern Rhône vintage in very high regard. But Clape took everything to another level.

In short, he nailed the vintage.

Don't Miss Vintage for Morgon's Master:
2014 Foillard Morgon Corcelette

We've been waiting to get our hands on Foillard's 2014s for a long time. Our thoughts turned to Foillard the moment it became clear that 2014 Beaujolais was a great vintage. For decades, Foillard has turned out some of the best Beaujolais around.

Mugneret-Gibourg Two-Ways:
2013 Mugneret-Gibourg Vosne-Romanée
& Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les Chaignots

Every vintage, I search high and low for Mugneret-Gibourg. These days amassing enough for an offer seems like a full-time job. Today, to a very small group of Burgundy fanatics, I'm happy to offer Mugneret-Gibourg's 2013 Vosne and NSG Chaignots.

Dazzling Brilliance:
2012 Ganevat Chardonnay Chamois du Paradis

Out of Ganevat's dizzying range of wines, the Chardonnay Chamois du Paradis is one of the more compact and mineral. When you combine this with the 2012 vintage, you get something really exciting.

On Another Level: 2011 Macle Côtes du Jura

Macle has long stood as a benchmark for the Jura. The explanation is simple: no one in the region captures elegance the way that they do. They are classics of the Jura. No one presents the region with a similar level of refinement.

Firing on All Cyclinders: 1989 Krug Collection Magnums

"When Krug is firing on all cylinders, there really is no substitute." -Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

This is the summit of Vin Jaune:
2007 Macle Chateau Chalon

"This is the summit of Vin Jaune" -Luis Gutierrez, The Wine Advocate It's taken some time, but Macle's Château Chalon has finally gotten its due. Earlier this month, their 2007 Château Chalon received a sterling review from The Wine Advocate.

Loire Rarity: 2014 Pascal Cotat Sancerre Rosé

Pascal Cotat's rosé is something that we're always searching for. Many of you reading this will immediately understand why. It's one of the best and most ageworthy rosés on the planet.

Absolutely stunning in every respect - 2013 Ponsot Clos de la Roche VV Magnums

Clos de la Roche is far and away the flagship of Ponsot. It's his magnum opus. In any vintage, Ponsot's Clos de la Roche is one of the great wines of the world.

Under-the-Radar Roumier:
2013 Roumier Morey-St.-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière

Along with Rousseau and DRC, Roumier forms the holy trinity of elite Red Burgundy producers. Today, we focus on Roumier's most under-the-radar site, Clos de la Bussière. For me, this stands out as the value of Roumier's line-up.

Loire Icon - Important Vintage:
2014 François Cotat Sancerre Les Culs de Beaujeu

2014 is a stellar vintage for the Loire. This is especially true in Sancerre. At this point, comparisons to past greats like 1996 and 2002 don't feel out of line.

1995 Dom Pérignon Rosé P2

Claiming Dom Pérignon's Rosé to be the best in all of Champagne is beside the point. For me, it's one of the world's great wines.

A World Class Debut: 2006 Dom Pérignon

It's with great pleasure that I offer 2006 Dom Pérignon, a bottle that I have very high hopes for. My love for Dom Pérignon has been well documented.

Stand Out Kabinett: 2014 Weiser-Künstler Ellergrub Kabinett

"This is another stunning collection by the Weiser-Künstler couple... the whole collection is a must buy." -Mosel Fine Wines Even though the estate was founded in 2005, it's now taken for granted that Weiser-Künstler is producing some of the top wines in the Mosel. They are mentioned in the same breath as the region's best and most established estates.

Agility, Clarity & Value in White Burgundy: 2013 Marc Colin St. Aubin 1er Cru: La Chatenière & En Remilly

We're simply in love with 2013 White Burgundy. Today, we focus on two of the top values of the vintage. Seasoned Burgundy buyers have long sought out St. Aubin for the ridiculous quality-price-ratio it delivers. La Chatenière and En Remilly are two of St. Aubin's great sites.

Trousseau Sud: 2013 Algueira Merenzao

Algueira looks at the history of Ribeira Sacra with an unflinching gaze. Obscure indigenous grapes, like Merenzao and Brancellao, get star billing here. Although these grapes have virtually no name recognition and even knowing how to pronounce them requires some imagination, they're still handled with the utmost care. Foot stomping and biodynamic viticulture are integral parts of Algueira's meticulous approach.

The Master shows them how once again!
2004 Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chenes

"The Master shows them how once again!" —Clive Coates Clive Coates said it right. Some of you may be surprised that he's talking about the '04 Chênes. No one would say this was an easy vintage for Burgundy.

Lovely stuff - 2004 Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Clos du Chateau des Ducs

There are times when I can imagine drinking nothing besides Lafarge. That speaks volumes about their consistency, soulfulness and age-worthiness. Every vintage, Lafarge seems to find a way to shock and surprise. When you taste his '03s, this becomes clear. He produced incredibly and uniquely successful wines in this brutally hot and difficult vintage.

I particularly like the sense of harmony and balance. - 2012 Chezeaux (Ponsot) Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Charmes

For many years, we've been fond of offering one of Burgundy's great secrets - Chezeaux's Griotte bottling made by Laurent Ponsot. Today, another great Chezeaux bottling made by Ponsot - the Chambolle Charmes.

Impeccable Class and Power in Magnum, Lowest Price: 2005 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne

"Comtes de Champagne remains the best value in grand marque Tête de Cuvée Champagne." -Antonio Galloni

Morgon's Master Revisited
2012 Foillard Morgon Cote du Py

Foillard is a master of Morgon and for us, it's unthinkable not to clear some cellar space each vintage. When we see a parcel priced like this one, we jump on it.
