This is simply a groundbreaking wine in terms of what's possible from Oregon Chardonnay. Anyone obsessed with top white Burgundy or other elite expressions of the Chardonnay grape needs to check out a bottle. The wine is that impressive. 

An Electric Overachiever - Lowest Price:
2020 Anne Boisson Bourgogne Aligoté

The zingy electricity of the grape shines through while the vintage adds an extra dimension of power and polish. The entire package is compelling. 

Mugneret-Gibourg:
From Bourgogne to Clos Vougeot

These are easy wines to become obsessed with. Across the range, the wines are texturally beguiling, transparent, and supremely elegant. Even their Bourgogne Rouge is painfully rare.

Cornas From On High:
2020 Gilles Cornas "Nouvelle R" Les Rieux

The "R" stands for Les Rieux, a vineyard that Gilles planted in 2010 that sits at 450 meters high, above the amphitheater of Cornas. It's a vineyard of white granite soils that had never been planted before because historically, people worried about the grape achieving proper ripeness.
