"It’s rare to find a champagne, or indeed, a wine of any kind, as profound"
- Selosse Lieux-Dits 6-Packs

Simply put, Selosse lieux-dits 6-packs are frighteningly difficult to find in quantity. Every year, I work really hard to find enough wine to make an offer happen.

When The Stars Aligned
2002 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne

"It is easily one of the very best Champagnes I have ever tasted, and simply a must-have wine." -Antonio Galloni When Taittinger's Comtes de Champagne is on, it can reach heights that only a select few Champagnes can achieve. As the note above makes clear, the 2002 is a very special wine.

Implausible Harmony
Selosse Cuvée Initial NV

Out of Selosse's lineup, Initial is the Selosse bottling that I reach for most often. Its energy and punchy minerality are endlessly appealing. Initial highlights the magic of Selosse - it's a Blanc de Blancs of seemingly implausible harmony, combining outrageous purity with enveloping power.

Utterly Brilliant: 2010 Agrapart Mineral Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

Agrapart's Mineral lives up to its name, bursting with chalky minerality. It is one of the most riveting expressions of Chardonnay to be found.

"It’s rare to find a champagne, or indeed, a wine of any kind, as profound" - Selosse Les Carelles Extra Brut Grand Cru

Selosse's lieux-dits provide some of the most captivating and singular drinking experiences in Champagne. Each Lieu-Dit amazes. With that said, I love Carelles.

"One of the finest grower-producers" -
Marie-Noëlle Ledru Brut Grand Cru

Every year around this time, we get a Ledru allocation, get excited to offer it out, and then it's gone. Each year, our allocation is small and there's more interest than supply. It's an ugly combination.

2011 Ledru Cuvée du Goulté

Ledru is a tiny estate that's assumed a huge profile. I immediately jumped on this parcel when I saw it.

"Among the most compelling wines of the vintage"
2012 Laval Les Chenes

Catching a bottle of Laval in the zone will make you a convert for life. Out of Laval's line-up, it's the Les Chenes that's delivered the most often and in the biggest ways.

2008 Philipponnat Clos des Goisses
"A wine of explosive power and energy, the 2008 Clos des Goisses is magnificent." -Antionio Galloni

Without a doubt, this is one of the most anticipated 2008 Champagne releases. Clos des Goisses is an absolutely unique experience of straining mineral power and aristocratic breeding. It is easily among the longest lived, most complicated and most mind-bendingly mineral wines in all of Champagne.

"A total knock-out"
2009 Cédric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne Côte de Béchalin

It's been nearly four years since our last Cédric Bouchard offer. The 2009 Bechalin impressed us so much when we tasted it that we immediately started planning an offer.

Prévost Beguines Extra Brut NV (2014)

At this point, there's little left to be said about Prevost. At age 21, Prevost inherited his grandmother's 2.2 hectares of Meunier vines in an obscure corner of Champagne. In seemingly no time, Prevost gained a cult following and finding his wine became an adventure.

"A jewel of a wine" -
2012 Pierre Peters l'Esprit

Few people can rival the incredible refinement and mineral-inflected elegance that Rodolphe Peters achieves with his Blanc de Blancs. Peters makes some of the most beloved wines in all of Champagne. His mastery of the Côte des Blancs is nearly unparalleled.

Extreme Minerality:
Leclapart L'Amateur (2013)

Léclapart's Champagne's are some of the most thrilling and singular bubbles that you'll ever encounter.

Grand Cru Without Make Up
2008 Ledru Brut Nature

Marie-Noëlle Ledru makes some of the most heartfelt Champagnes around. There's a rigor and purity that amazes.

Last Chance: Brilliance in the Côte des Blancs
2008 Agrapart Mineral Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

In any vintage, Agrapart’s Minéral is an absolutely brilliant bottle of Champagne. In 2008, it’s showstopping.

"Some of the most compelling wines" -
Ulysse Collin Blanc de Blancs Les Roises Extra Brut (2012 Base) & Rose de Saignee (2013 base)

Ulysse Collin's Champagnes can nearly overwhelm the senses. There's a multi-dimensional complexity that seems to hit you from every angle.

"One of the finest grower-producers" -
Ledru Extra Brut NV

It's been a long time since we've had decent quantity of Ledru's Extra Brut.

World Premiere:
2000 Dom Pérignon P2

The life of Dom Pérignon is amazing.

Champagne Holy Ground:
2008 Moncuit Chétillons

Moncuit's 2008 Chétillons is a wine that I buy whenever I have the chance.

Rare, Back-Vintage Ledru:
2002 Ledru Brut Nature

This parcel was a major find.

"Built on a core of pure energy" -
2010 Pierre Peters L'Espirit

It’s no secret that Rodolphe Peters is one of the top growers in all of Champagne.

The Greatest Grande Cuvée Ever?:
Krug Grande Cuvée (2008 Base)

The just released 164th Edition of Krug Grande Cuvée is one of the most dazzling releases of Krug Grande Cuvée we've tasted.

Setting The Standard: Benoit Lahaye Violaine

Benoît Lahaye may not be well known, but he is making some of our favorite Champagnes. His Violaine is one of the standouts of his line-up.

Back Up The Truck: Champagne Edition -
Christophe Mignon Pur Meunier Brut Nature NV

“Christophe Mignon might very well be the finest grower in Champagne most people have not heard about” - Antonio Galloni
